OIS System v1.1

An interactive web application that will let the students and faculty query and update information in the university database online. The system will be initially available in the university's intranet wireless and wired connection.

OIS System for UNEP Faculty Members

Faculty members can login to the system using any web browser MOZILLA FIREFOX, INTENET EXPLORER etc. by going to http://mis-ict.unep.edu.ph. They can perform querying of subject loads from past to present, query list of student for their respective classes handled.

Faculty members can enter grades of students from prelim to final and final grade which is the most important feature of the system. Once grades are encoded every examination the student can now easily access it.

Basic operation of the system for faculty

• Faculty login
• Query their personal information
• Query current subject loads assignment
• Query subject loads history information
• Encode and update students grades
• Change password
• Post comments/suggestions (not yet available)

OIS System for UNEP Students

Students can inquire for the subjects taken, account balances, assessment history and faculty Information. But only active and authenticated students are allowed for this operations.

But others aside from students, they can query for the subjects offering in the university by department, by course, by faculty assigned, and in general list all subjects offered in the current semester/school year.

• Student login (only student number and family name required)

• Query Account Balance
• Query subjects taken
• Query enrollment history
• Registration to password protect account (not available yet)
